GRE (The graduate record examination) is a standardized exam used to measure one’s aptitude for abstract thinking in the areas of mathematics, quantitative and verbal reasoning ,analytical writing and vocabulary. GRE (General Test) is widely accepted worldwide (150+ countries) and thousands of graduate and business schools/Universities, usually, for most graduate schools in the United States and Canada. Some schools may also require to take one or more GRE subject test.

The GRE test format is designed in three main sections. This applies even if you canceled your scores on a test taken previously. If you take only the paper-based GRE revised General Test, you may take it as often as it is offered.
